There is a conference room available from 09:45. It has audiovisual facilities and can accommodate up to 16 people in a theatre-style layout and up to 10 people in a boardroom-style layout.

Room information

The hotel has just 9 bedrooms. Each room has a flat-screen digital TV, a power shower and a generous welcome tray as standard. The 2 executive single rooms offer super-wide beds and are more spacious than the standard rooms. Disabled guests, wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility are advised that all rooms are located on the first and second floors and access is via staircase only.

Food & beverage

The White House offers a full Welsh breakfast, which is included in the price. Breakfast features local cockles and laverbread, as well as a selection of other hot dishes at no additional cost. Breakfast is available on weekdays from 07.00 until 09.15 and from 08.00 until 09:30 on weekends. The cosy but modern dining room is open for delicious home-cooked evening meals from 18:00 to 20:00. The dining room offers traditional Welsh cuisine, made using high-quality local produce, accompanied by a range of wines to complement your meal. The dining room has comfortable seating for up to 16 guests and fresh flowers adorn each candlelit table. Alcoholic drinks are available from 12:00 to 00:00.

The hotel is located just one mile from Swansea’s city centre and just a stone’s throw from some of Swansea’s most wonderful restaurants. The cafe and bar district of central Swansea is just 5 minutes away and the hotel is just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its award-winning beaches. The hotel boasts a comprehensive tourist information display and the staff at reception will be happy to help you plan your stay and to make recommendations as to what to see and do in the surrounding area.

By Car (from the M4 motorway): - Leave the M4 motorway at junction 42, following the signs towards Swansea for 6 miles (10 km). - At Sainsbury's (on the left-hand side) keep straight on towards Mumbles. - At Tesco (on the right-hand side), keep straight on. - Drive past County Hall (on the left-hand side) until you reach the Bay View Hotel (on the right-hand side), then take the right-hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights (into Guildhall Road South leading to St Helen's Road). - At the Guildhall (on the left-hand side), keep straight on, past the Crown Court (on the right-hand side). - At Joe's Ice Cream Parlour (on the right-hand side), prepare to turn left. - At the traffic lights, turn left into Bryn-y-mor Road. - Drive past the shops, continue up the winding hill to the top and to the junction with Uplands Crescent. - The White House Hotel is situated on this junction. Take a sharp left turn along the side of the hotel and into Eaton Crescent for parking. Parking: Free secure car parking is available for hotel guests, please remember to book in advance.
