Dylan Thomas House was bought as a new property by the Thomas family in 1914, a few months before Dylan was born in the front bedroom. The house played a large part in the development of one of the finest poets of the 20th century.

You can walk back into Edwardian times and enjoy the peace of a house with no TV, but instead with a phonogram, books, newspapers of the day and card games to keep you amused. Guided tours and walks are available. Close to Cwmdonkin Park, Dylan Thomas House is just 1 mile (1.6 km) from Swansea city centre and 5 miles (8 km) from Mumbles and Gower beaches. The house sleeps up to 6 people in 1 double, 1 twin and 2 single rooms including Dylans tiny bedroom with its original gas lamp point. Over two-thirds of Thomas' published output was written here.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 2 to 16 years are charged GBP 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged GBP 50.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 4. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 15 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available.
